What types of calls for service to the Orange County Sheriff are Rossmoor residents placing?
And what do you know about criminal activity in Rossmoor?
Then from the drop-down list of communities, select Rossmoor and either a 7-day or 30-day report.
The first column of the report lists the “Received Time” which is the time the call-taker in the Sheriff’s office begins entering the call into the system. The second column lists the time when a dispatcher assigns the call to an available unit. The third column lists the Case Number. The Incident column gives the reason for the call. The last column gives the location, listing a block address but not a specific address. Please remember the Sheriff’s Blotter records the initial situation reported by the caller. Sometimes the actual circumstances at the scene differ (greatly) from those in the initial report.
From the Sheriff’s Blotter page: “The Sheriff’s Blotter enables residents to know what activity is occurring in their communities. Both 7-day and 30-day views are available for areas that are either cities that contract with the Sheriff’s Department or unincorporated areas of the county. A regular review of the calls in a particular area will provide an accurate view of law enforcement activity in that community.”
