Long time Rossmoor resident Bernie Beskind started a program for people of all ages aptly named Rossmoor Walk & Talk.
His idea is simple enough, whoever attends form groups of 2-4 people and walk in and around Rush Park and, wait for it – talk. How long they walk, how fast they walk, and what they talk about is up to them. If you need a topic to talk about, Bernie is always there and happy to help you out.
Bernie’s says this simple plan creates an informal way to meet your neighbors and get some exercise at the same time. The best part? Walking can save or at least extend your life, plus you’ll get to meet some really great people. The Rossmoor Walk & Talk is open to all ages.
The more the merrier – Invite your friends and please spread the word. Rossmoor Walk & Talk starts at 10:30 AM every Tuesday at Rush Park as long as it’s not raining.
If you have questions, please email Bernie ([email protected]), or come see him this Tuesday at 10:30. Bernie will be the energetic guy with glasses, short hair, long in years and walking slowly.
